It was a beautiful fall day. The café was filled with patrons, many taking a pause from shopping in historic Concord Center. Nearby lies the hallowed ground where the first shots were fired in the American Revolution. For much of the 19th Century, Concord was the cultural capital of the young United States. It’s easy to understand why tourists are drawn to this town; everywhere you go, you bump into history.
