For me, museums present a dilemma. I can’t create art and consume it at the same time. So, I can’t speak to the quality of the art I saw in the ICA. I have a sense, though, that the architecture overwhelms the art; and the building out-shines its contents among the public. Due to its avant-garde architecture and Boston Harbor outlook, the building has achieved celebrity status since it was built in 2006.
